Printing price labels straight from a purchase order

Why the obvious workaround hurts

Shopify can print barcode labels through a labels app, but that app does not know what you just received. So the sequence becomes: receive the delivery in one place, then retype or re-select the same SKUs in another place to print.

What the workflow should look like

• Receive the delivery, entering the quantity that actually turned up and the price you actually paid.
• The label run is scoped to that receipt: six units received means six labels, not one per ordered unit.
• Print a sheet directly, or export a CSV that Dymo and Zebra software both read, with title, variant, SKU, barcode and retail price.
• Partial deliveries print only what arrived; the rest prints when the backorder lands.

A note on hardware

You do not need new printers. Merchants who already print from a Dymo LabelWriter or a Zebra desktop printer keep using them: a CSV export drops into the label software you have, and the printable sheet works on any office printer for shelf-edge labels.

Questions

Does it print one label per unit?

Yes. Six units received produce six labels. You can also print the whole order rather than a single receipt if you prefer to label in advance.

Which printers are supported?

Any printer your label software already drives. The CSV export is a plain file with title, variant, SKU, barcode and price columns, which Dymo and Zebra software import directly.
